Project Scheduling
Project scheduling provides a sound base for good project management. BCM creates a project schedule based upon the client's occupancy requirements, available project materials, labor and equipment, forecasted weather conditions and BCM's database of completed project schedules can be included in early cost estimates.
The initial project schedule is revised along with the project budget as more detail is developed by our architects and engineers.
During construction, the schedule is monitored and updated to show actual construction progress compared to the original schedule. Intensive management of critical path (red) tasks allows the project to maintain or gain on the projected completion date.
Costs for each line item can be linked to the project schedule to project (blue) cash flows on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
Updated schedules are sent to the client and vendors regularly to keep them informed of construction progress and any changes of important milestone dates.
