Consolidated Freightways
For the construction of Consolidated Freightways’ new Richmond,
California shipping terminal, “time was of the essence.” To
shorten the project schedule, the steel frame was fabricated
off-site while engineering and construction of the foundation
proceeded at the building site. Close coordination by BCM
of off-site and on-site crews was integral to meeting CF’s
demanding time deadline to put them “miles ahead”.
