PG&E East Geysers Administration
BCM was selected by Pacific Gas and Electric to perform civil,
structural, mechanical and electrical construction on their
Geysers power plant projects. These complex power facilities
cost over $100,000,000 when constructed. With the first units
in operation since 1960, PG&E’s Geysers Power Plant generates
power for over 900,000 homes in California annually.
PG&E Unit 16
When the keys to Pacific Gas and Electric’s new administration
building were turned over to company officials, even the typewriters
were set up and ready for the first day of work. Located at
the world’s largest geothermal power plant, the building was
constructed by BCM on a complete “turn-key” basis and utilized
pre-engineered building components to shorten construction
time.
